Alia Bhatt's Raazi Writer Harinder Sikka Makes SHOCKING Allegations On Meghna Gulzar; Says She Got His Credit Removed Because He’s An ‘Outsider’
The writer of Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal’s Raazi has accused filmmaker Meghna Gulzar of not being allowed to launch his book and more
Ever since the day Sushant Singh Rajput left for his heavenly abode, we have been coming across some of the other controversial news/ revelations. Well, with the ongoing outrage over nepotism, a lot of celebrities aren’t shying away from sharing the ordeal they faced in the industry. The latest one to do so is writer and filmmaker Harinder Singh Sikka, who, in a recent interview with Republic TV, has accused Raazi’s filmmaker Meghna Gulzar of purposely not giving him the credit at several platforms.
Harinder has accused Meghna Gulzar of having his name removed from everything at the Jaipur Literature Festival. He also alleged that she didn’t allow him to launch his book. He further claims of getting evidence as he quoted a few words by the head of Jaipur Literature Festival, who stated that he was ‘bulldozed’ into removing a person. As per Sikka, the reason behind the delay of his book is none other than Meghna. He also went onto say that at a prestigious award show, he was supposed to be honoured for the best ‘original story’.
It, however, went to the film Andhadhun, which, as per Sikka, is a copy of a French book. He also went onto to cite the example of how Meghna stole the credits of the Delhi-based lawyer for her recent film, Chhapaak. Harinder claims that whatever happened with him was because of the fact that he is an outsider.
Now this is indeed SHOCKING if true as I always believed #MeghnaGulzar is one of the finest Director & A sorted human being! If @sikka_harinder’s claim to be believed there was an injustice to him during #Raazi as he was an outsider. He has pointed out on #BollywoodLobby as well🙄 pic.twitter.com/vUrm0Ek05o

In an old interview with News18, Harinder had accused Meghna of not inviting him to the film’s special screening. He was quoted saying, “I had promised Gulzar that I will take Meghna as director. I also asked for Alia Bhatt as the lead actor. I objected to the screenplay too. I wasn’t invited to the pre-release screening of the film. I learnt about the event after the film’s release. I received a message from Alia asking how did I like the film? She is a sweet girl and this film wouldn’t have been a hit without her. Sehmat went into depression much later but the makers ended the film there. It changed the fabric of the story. This leftist approach killed it.”
